Preschool For All
Preschool For All is a new program provided by the Illinois State Board of Education that provides FREE 2 1/2 hour preschool program for children ages 3 & 4. We are honored to be one of the few childcare centers in the area chosen to participate in this statewide program.

1. ACCESS FOR ALL: Preschool for All makes preschool accessible to all families, serving all three-and four-year-olds. Come in today to tour our center. Register now to be part of this new program!

2. ATTENTION TO ALL: Preschool for All will provide parent education, engagement, and family support. The goal is to ease transitions from home or childcare to preschool and from preschool to kindergarten. The program addresses the physical, social, emotional, and unique developmental needs of each child.

3. QUALITY FOR ALL: Safari Childcare is designed to provide high-quality settings for all children from birth through age twelve. We require Early Childhood Certified Teachers to ensure high-quality learning environments, use proven research-based preschool curriculum. We also provide programs for infants, toddlers and their families.

Factors that qualify children for our Free Preschool For All Program:

• Child will be 3 or 4 years old by September 1
• Motor Skills- potential concern
• Social-Emotional Observations- potential concern
• Speech & Language- potential concern
• Economic Status: low income, Public Aid
• Physical/Health Concerns
• Prenatal/Birth Concerns
• Abuse/alcohol/drugs/developmental disability
• Parent is divorced
• Child lives with adult other than birth parent
• Family lives with child’s grandparents
• Family has required services of DOVE, DCFS
• Parent did not graduate from high school
• Mother is 21 years old or younger
• Family is associated with, or receives support services from one or more social service agencies
• English as a second language
• Short attention span
• Difficulty communicating/separating
• Sibling in program
• Single parent family/blended family
• Concern on the hearing or vision screening
• Siblings who are older are experiencing academic difficulties
• Parent deceased/incarcerated
