Nutritious Meals

Safari Childcare offers hot breakfast, hot lunch, and snack no additional charge.

Every meal and snack is planned to meet nutritional requirements.

Sample Menu Items:

     Breakfast:

               waffles, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy,

               assorted cereal, fruit, milk, toast, tator tots, oatmeal, etc.  

     Lunch:

Health and safety guidelines:

*Hot dogs and carrots are cut lengthwise for 2 year olds.

*All vegetables are cooked and smashed for infants and toddlers.

*Banana’s are smashed for children under two.

*Canned fruit is substituted for apples and oranges for infants & toddlers.

*Whole milk is served to children under age 2.

2% milk is served to children over age 2.

*Chicken Nuggets are substituted for hot dogs for infants and toddlers.

Snack: (served with juice)
