     THE QUESTION: HOW WILL YOU ENSURE MY CHILD'S HEALTH AND SAFETY?


     CHILD SAFETY

 

  • Electronically activated front door with pass code entrance and security cameras
          

 

  • Fully monitored fire alarm system
        

 

  • Monitored security system with direct emergency access to police and fire department
        

 

  • Six-foot security fence surrounds entire play area

  • All staff trained in the use of CPR and First Aid                                                  

 

  • Personal background checks conducted on all staff through the State of Illinois. Applicants must pass a background check that spans all 50 states. Their fingerprints are matched against a national database of charged and/or convicted child abusers.
        

 

  • Children may only be picked up by designated persons with written consent from the child’s          parent (s). The authorized person must provide a photo ID and should not be given the code to the front door. If necessary, a family’s entrance pass-code may be changed in a matter of seconds.

 

  • Police and fire departments also electronically monitor our schools

 

  • Every class rehearses monthly fire drills, following evacuation procedures posted in each classroom.

 

  • Tornado drills are also rehearsed. Fire and tornado safety is also incorporated into the educational curriculum. So should an emergency occur, both staff and students will be prepared.

 

     CHILD HEALTH

 

  •  Healthy meals including hot breakfast and hot lunch served daily         
        

 

  • Entire facility is cleaned and sanitized daily by staff and then again at night by a separate cleaning crew. 

 

  • All new staff is immediately trained in the areas of health, sanitation and safety procedures
        

 

  • On site washer and dryer keeps items clean and sanitized

 

  • Our staff cleans and disinfects changing tables after each diapering, toys and equipment daily and lunch tables before and after eating.
